ReplyDeleteI had a dream this weekend that I ran into you, and you told me Ianna was confirmed, and coming home to your family. I just wanted to share that with you, just to let you know others are out there thinking good thoughts for you and your family.

Havel: I've met her, but I wasn't paying attention to her size, because at the time I had promised Dean I wasn't going to fall in love with a child so wasn't even considering the whole adoption thing! I was busy paying attention to her hands and facial features, and what the doctor was saying about her so I could remember it, to tell another family! But another family was there recently, and tried to compare Ianna to her own child's size, so I have a good general idea.
ReplyDeleteKasey: Thank you so much for sharing that! It really means a lot. Sometimes I feel very alone in this. Until I'm allowed to post her pictures and other information, it's hard to get anyone *really* excited for this adoption, so it's comforting to know there really are others are out there praying for and thinking about her. In my head I know they are. I mean, I KNOW you are! And yet it just feels kind of ....still....I don't know how else to explain it. So thank you for posting that.
