The hardest thing

The hardest thing about traveling for international adoption is getting the house ready for someone else to be in charge while you're gone!!!

I have a HUGE long list of things to do. Then I complete something and go to check it off the list only to discover it wasn't even ON the list! Instead, that master list still sits with all items untouched.

The good thing is, I work better under pressure. ;-)

Now, if anyone local knows a dog groomer who isn't busy, I have three dogs who MUST be shaved down before we leave! Our back yard is M.U.C.K. and my house is full of mud, which will be slightly better if I get them shaved down. If I don't get them done, they will be matted, muddy messes when I come back. I always groom the dogs myself but I don't know how I'm going to squeeze in this time-consuming task before we leave.

  1. Did you try sending an email to the All Breed List? There has got to be someone there who grooms. Otherwise, call Affordacare Groomers. I use her....she's reasonable and I can usually get in within 5 days.
